Sports

Inclusion is a key term in the sporting opportunities we offer our children at St Martin´s. We encourage all children to fully participate at their level and to thoroughly enjoy their activities. Good sportsmanship and teamwork are encouraged together with the development of individual skills. All classes have weekly P.E. (dance, gymnastics) lessons and an outdoor games session. Games activities include football, cricket, netball, rounders, hockey and athletics. From year 3 onwards there are weekly swimming lessons at our local pool. We are proud to say we have an excellent sports record competing nationally at football and regionally at swimming. Regular matches are held with local schools to add a healthy competitive element.
